Is the generated HTML compatible with all email clients?
Yes. Our HTML uses table-based layout with inline styles — the gold standard for email compatibility. It works with Gmail, Outlook (desktop and web), Apple Mail, and Infomaniak kMail.
Do I need to know HTML to use EmailSign?
Not at all. Fill in the form, customise the style visually, and copy the generated HTML. Our installation guides walk you through the process in your email client step by step.
Can I add my company logo?
Yes. Simply paste the public URL of your logo (hosted on your website or a service like Imgur). The same applies to your profile photo and promotional banner.
What are link analytics?
Link analytics let you track how many times the links in your signature are clicked (website, social networks, etc.). This feature is available in the Pro plan and helps you understand who engages with your emails.
How do I install my signature in Gmail?
Go to Gmail Settings → General → Signature. Create a new signature and paste using Ctrl+Shift+V (preserves formatting). Our detailed installation guide covers Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, and Infomaniak.
What size should an email signature be?
We recommend a maximum width of 600px and a height of 150–200px for a clean, professional look. For any images (logo, photo, banner), keep file sizes under 50KB to ensure fast loading and avoid spam filters.
Why does my email signature look different in Outlook?
Outlook uses its own rendering engine based on Microsoft Word, which has limited CSS support compared to Gmail. EmailSign generates table-based HTML with inline styles specifically optimised for Outlook compatibility, reducing rendering differences.
Can I add a Calendly or booking link to my signature?
Yes — simply paste your Calendly or booking page URL into the Website field, or use it as the destination for your main call-to-action link in the signature builder.
Is my data stored on your servers?
No. All your signature data is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. Nothing is sent to our servers unless you choose to create an account.
How to add a GDPR disclaimer to my email signature?
Enable the "Legal disclaimer" toggle in the Extras section of the builder. A default GDPR-compliant confidentiality notice is pre-filled — you can edit it to match your company's specific legal requirements.
How to add a logo to an email signature?
Host your logo image publicly (on your website, Imgur, or a similar service), then paste the public image URL into the Logo URL field in the Branding section. We recommend PNG or SVG format at 200–300px wide for best results.
